This scenario was the case with a recent project where clients needed a complete overhaul. They desired a warm and contemporary atmosphere where everyone could feel at home. For the spacious family room, we selected charcoal and oak for the furniture. This choice ensured that the pieces matched the room’s scale without being overwhelmed by the space. A light-colored rug from Armadillo & Co. brightened the room. To add warmth, we incorporated soft furnishings in teal, mauve, and grey. We customized an entertainment unit in American Oak and included a Danish cane footstool that combined function and style. The seating was arranged to maximize the garden view, with flexible side tables and a rug that also served as a play area for children.

Seamless Integration

The outdoor area was updated with a new lounge and matching cushions, coordinating with the indoor design. This approach created a smooth transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.

Elegant and Functional Updates

We updated the hallway with a new pendant light and runner, continuing the black and white theme. The large pendant light fit the high ceilings, adding an elegant touch to the entrance.

In the main bedroom, we aimed for a serene and luxurious feel. We painted the room a soft blue and added a new pendant light. A custom bedhead with flanged upholstery and a velvet cushion for the bay window introduced softness and luxury. We used various textures and materials like leather, velvet, silk, bone inlay, oak, and ceramic to create a tranquil and sophisticated space.
